Description

Two completely different worlds meet in this quartet: on the one hand, a soundscape living mainly through slight changes of a mostly stagnant sound and occasionally turning into an Aeolian harp-like harmonic sound, and on the other hand, a tale of four people represented by four themes who undergo changes and developments in a story. The story of the four people also tells of feelings, loneliness, longing, happiness and fear, of changes and inner peace found. By stepping out of this emotional tale into the rather impersonal soundscape, by pausing and listening, the people experience a greater distance from their emotions and involvements, step back and become observers, as it were - just in the tradition of a Buddhist meditation of attentiveness.
