Walter Tilgner's latest CD (recorded with the help of dummy-head stereo microphones which reproduce the blackbird’s song and other sounds so naturally that it's as if you yourself were sitting at the spot where the recording was being made) is dedicated to the bird that is - to judge by the human standards of melody, harmony, and rhythm - the most musical songbird in central Europe.
