Description

Yoshiki Miyamoto’s arrangement of Tschaikowsky’s ballet ‘The Sleeping Beauty’ for two pianos is 3 in 1: On the one hand it is a music book, on the other hand it is a colourful picture book and as well it is a story book, which tells the fairytale of Princess Aurora, who is cursed by a fairy to fall asleep for 100 years.
This book is constructed in many different scenes. Each scene has colourful pictures that show the scene and a theme to be played to emphasise the mood of the scene.
The story starts with simple pieces. As the degree of difficulty increases from piece to piece, children are eager to improve their skills to find out how the story continues. Both parts are equal concerning the degree of difficulty.
